Note From Boston Bomber Says Iraq War Was Motivation

In what Dzhokhar Tsarnaev likely thought would be the last thing he ever wrote, the Boston Bombing suspect disclosed his motivation for the bombing – the Iraq War.

Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev left a note claiming responsibility for the April 13 attack on the Boston Marathon, reports CBS News senior correspondent John Miller…

The note, scrawled with a pen on the interior wall of the cabin, said the bombings were retribution for U.S. military action in Afghanistan and Iraq, and called the Boston victims collateral damage in the same way Muslims have been in the American-led wars. “When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims,” the note added.

Remember we had to fight them over there so we didn’t have to – er uh, never mind.

Add the Boston Bombing victims to the Iraq War casualty list of plus 134,000. Not only has America lost thousands of its military service members and blown trillions from its treasury it is now facing domestic bombings thanks to the Iraq blunder. Apparently killing Muslims based on phony intelligence is not the best way to win over the Muslim community, whodathunkit?

Obviously this should seal Tsarnaev’s fate in any court proceeding. But let’s hope this is the last bill we have to pay for letting our government engage in war crimes.
